MEET OUR DIRECTOR
Susan Brannelly Martin, RN, BSN, CDP of Bridgeport serves as our Director of Client Services. She has extraordinary experience in local home care. A registered nurse for more than three decades, Susan spent the vast majority of her career in the home infusion industry. She co-founded Collins I.V. Care and led the local division of its successor companies, Walgreens Infusion Services, and OptionCare, for 25 years in total. Most recently she was the administrator for Partners in Care, the private duty division of Visiting Nurse Services of Connecticut.

Her passion for elder services was fueled by her exposure to the programs administered by Southwestern Connecticut Agency on Aging (SWCAA) whose mission to keep people where they feel most comfortable and secure—in their own homes—aligns with hers. Sue’s career has always focused on home care, so assisting people to age gracefully in their homes is a natural next step. Sue’s personal philosophy of “caring for people like family” aligns perfectly with the Turtledove mission in which “family is at the center of our care.”
Susan is very active in her local community. She served on Bridgeport’s City Council for eight years, the board of the Downtown Cabaret Theatre Board for four years, and is currently on the board of directors for the Southwestern Connecticut Agency on Aging and a member of the Gaelic-American Club and Fayerweather Yacht Club. Sue also volunteers for Black Rock Food Pantry. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Norwalk Community College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Sacred Heart University and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner.
